二．What is the correct distance between floor heating pipes?

The pipe spacing should be calculated according to the ground heat dissipation, design temperature, water temperature and thermal resistance of heat transfer. It is generally recommended that the spacing is 100-300mm, 200-300mm near the external wall, 100-150mm near the inner wall of the bathroom, and the window side can be appropriately reduced the spacing. The common 16mm pipe diameter coil spacing is about 15cm, and the 20mm pipe diameter is about 20cm.

三．Can the length of the floor heating circuit not be uniform?

The length of each loop heating pipe should be as close as possible (the difference does not exceed 15%) to avoid local overheating or non-heating. The length of a single pipe should not exceed 120m to ensure balanced system operation.

四．What do you need to pay attention to in dense areas of heating tubes?

In the vicinity of the water separator and other dense areas of heating pipes, when the pipe spacing is less than 100mm, the temperature insulation measures such as flexible casing should be added, or the steel wire mesh should be added in the filling layer to prevent the ground cracking.

五．How to deal with expansion joints?

When the length of the room is more than 6 meters or the area is more than 30 square meters, the expansion joint should be set according to the spacing of not more than 6 meters. When the heating pipe passes through the expansion joint, a flexible sleeve with a length of not less than 200mm should be installed to adapt to the ground expansion changes.

六．Does the pressure drop of PE-RT tube hydraulic test mean leakage?

Not necessarily. PE-RT, as a thermoplastic material, has creep and stress relaxation characteristics, and the pressure drop may be caused by the air in the tube is not exhausted, rather than direct leakage.

七．Whether the heating pipe under the ground has a joint？

In principle, the floor heating main and coil under the ground should not be connected. If the joint is necessary, it should be used in a high-standard connection mode such as sliding close connection to ensure long-term no water seepage and ensure the safe and stable operation of the floor heating system.
